SECOND AMENDMENT TO DECREE OF THE MINISTER OF FINANCE No. 97/KMK.05/2000
ON
DISPENSATION OF IMPORT DUTY FOR IMPORT OF RAW MATERIALS FOR THE MANUFACTURING OF MOTORIZED VEHICLE COMPONENTS
THE MINISTER OF FINANCE OF THE REPUBLIC OF INDONESIA,
Considering :
- a. that, in the framework of encouraging of growth of motorized vehicles' component industry, for the import of raw materials for the manufacturing of the components, dispensation of import duty shall be granted pursuant to Decree of the Minister of Finance No. 97/KMK.05/2000;
- b. that, to give similar treatment to the industry of motorcycles' wheel-spoke as a local component industry, dispensation of import duty for the import of raw materials in the form of free cutting steel wire has to be granted;
- c. that, based on the matters as set forth in paragraphs a and b, it is necessary to stipulate Decree of the Minister of Finance on Second Amendment to Decree of the said minister No. 91/KMK.05/2000 on Dispensation of Import Duty for Import of Raw Materials for the Manufacturing of Motorized Vehicles' Components.
In view of :
- 1. Law No. 10/1995 on Customs Affairs (Statute Book of 1995 No. 75, Supplement to Statute Book No. 3612),
- 2. Presidential Decree No. 228/M/2001;
- 3. Decree of the Minister of Finance No. 97/KMK.05/2000 on Dispensation of Import Duty for the Import of Raw Materials for the Manufacturing of Motorized Vehicles' Components;
- 4. Decree of the Minister of Finance No. 96/KMK.01/2003 on Designation of System of Classification of Goods and The Amount of Import Duty as amended latest by Decree of the said minister No. 247/KMK.01/2003.
Considering :
Letter of the Minister of Trade and Industry No. 40/MPP/VI/2003 dated June 17, 2003;
DECIDES:
To stipulate:
DECREE OF THE MINISTER OF FINANCE ON SECOND AMENDMENT TO DECREE OF THE MINISTER OF FINANCE No. 97/KMK.05/2000 ON DISPENSATION OF IMPORT DUTY FOR IM. PORT OF RAW MATERIALS FOR THE MANUFACTURING Of MOTORIZED VEHICLESECOMPONENTS.
Article 1
1. Appendix to Decree of the Minister of Finance No. 97/KMK.05/2000 shall be amended by adding types of goods with serial numbers 83 and 148 so that they become as specified below:

2. The amendment/addition, as specified in paragraph a, shall be applicable entirely for the import of goods which PIB (Import Manifest) has obtained Register Number from the Service Office of the Directorate General of Customs and Excise of the port of introduction, from the date of enforcement of this Decree.
Article 2
This Decree shall come into effect from the date of stipulation.
For public cognizance this Decree shall be published by placing it in the State Gazette of the Republic of Indonesia.
